Sodium chromate Na251CrO4. It is used to measure the erythrocyte life. And is rapidly excreted in the urine as 51Cr without being reused after erythrocyte decay. The erythrocytes indicated by sodium chromate (51Cr) are intravenously injected into the subject and the decrease in the radioactivity of the subject's blood is measured with time and the half-life of erythrocytes is calculated using a well-type scintillation counter. 크롬산나트륨 Na251CrO4. 적혈구 수명의 측정에 사용 된다. 적혈구 붕괴후 다시 이용되는 일없이 51Cr로서 급속하게 요중에 배설되는 성질을 이용하고 있다. 크롬산나트륨(51Cr)에 의해서 표시된 적혈구를 피검자에게 정맥주사하고 웰형 신티레이션카운터를 사용해 피검자 혈액의 방사능감소를 시간변화에 따라 측정하고 적혈구의 반감기를 산출한다.
