Tail bone
The tail bone, or mince, is the last vertebra of the spine in human anatomy. The caudal bone, located under the sacral bone, is composed of 3-5 vertebrae, which are separated or fused together. Movement between the bony and caudal bones is very limited because they form the fibrous cartilage joints. The coccyx, the English name for the tailbone, is Greek for etymology, which means cuckoo. This is because the profile of the tail bone is reminiscent of the bent shape of the cuckoo beak.
