Programming language
A programming language is a language for writing software that runs a computer system. The higher the language, the closer it is to the language people speak. Generally speaking, it often refers to software that supports a programming language, that is, software for writing software, in which case the software is viewed as a programming language without distinction between the programming language and the software. For example, Delphi is only software for writing software that supports the programming language Object Pascal, but it is more often seen as a separate programming language.
