Deep mycosis Fungi are caused by fungi from the lesion site (disease site) from the superficial mycosis fungi and deep fungi are two major. The former refers to the formation of lesions in the skin and its associated organs, while the latter refers to the formation of lesions in the deep organs such as subcutaneous tissue, muscle, respiratory, digestive or central nervous system. There are many things that belong to deep mycosis, but what can be seen in Korea is Candidiasis, Aspergillus, Krift. These deep-fungus fungi are weakly toxic, so they are rarely affected by the health, but they occur when the immunity is decreased by using a large amount of antibiotics and anticancer drugs. Because of the small number of appropriate treatments, once they become affected, they become addictive. 심부진균증 진균에 의하여 일어나는 질병에는 그의 병소부위(病巢部位)로부터 표재성진균증과 심재성진균증의 두개가 대별된다. 전자는 피부와 그의 부속기관에 병소(病巢)를 형성하는 것으로 후자는 피하조직, 근, 호흡기, 소화기, 중추신경 등 심부장기에 병소를 형성하는 것을 말한다. 심부진균증에 속하는 것은 많으나 우리나라에서 볼 수 있는 것은 칸디다증, 아스펠르기르스증, 크리프트코까스증이다. 이들 심부진균은 독성이 약하므로 건강체에서 이에 이환(罹患)되는 것은 드물지만 항생물질, 항암제를 대량으로 사용하여 면역력이 저하한 경우에 잘 일어난다. 적절한 치료법이 적기 때문에 한번 이환되게 되면 중독적 결과로 된다.
