Soviet Communist Party
The Communist Party of the Soviet Socialist Republic was the only legitimate party of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the largest communist organization in the world, which brought Marxism-Leninism. The party led the October Revolution of 1917 to establish the world's first communist state, and for the next 74 years it was the only ruling party that did not allow opposition parties. However, the Communist Party of the Soviet Socialist Republic was banned after the failure of the coup in August 1991, and after the Soviet dissolution became a predecessor of the communist parties of the Soviet republics together with the Russian Federation. The ruling party of the Soviet Union Communist Party was held every 1-5 years, but it had never been held for 13 years between 1939 and 1952. The last National Convention was the 28th National Convention, which was held from July 2, 1990 to November 11. The National Assembly elected a member of the Central Committee and, among them, the Soviet Communist Party.
