WHAT DOES 염색질 MEAN IN KOREAN?
Chromatin
Chromatin is a macromolecular complex composed of DNA, protein, and RNA. The primary function of the chromatin is to reduce the volume through DNA packaging, to allow the macromolecular DNA to undergo mitosis, prevent DNA damage, and control gene expression and DNA replication. The main protein that makes up the chromatin is the histone that compresses the DNA. Chromosomes exist only in eukaryotic cells, and prokaryotic cells organize DNA in different ways. Prokaryotic cells that correspond to the chromosomes of eukaryotic cells are present in the nucleus and are called zinophore. The structure of the chromatin is affected by several factors. The overall structure depends on the cell cycle. Chromatin is a loose structure in the liver, allowing RNA or DNA polymerase to transcribe or polymerize DNA, respectively. The local structure depends on the gene in the DNA. The DNA region where the gene is activated and transcribed is loosely packed and observed with the RNA polymerase bound. The DNA encoding the inactive gene is tightly packed in association with the structural protein.
Definition of 염색질 in the Korean dictionary
Chromatin It is a substance that exists in the nucleus and is stained with a basic pigment such as hematoxylin. It is composed of a nucleated protein in which DNA and histone are bonded as a main component of a dyed yarn or a chromosome. Chromatin can be divided into true chromosomes (chromosomes) and heterochromes. The true chromatin does not cause abnormal condensation and does not exhibit a fading response due to low temperature, but it contains genes. In contrast, heterozygous chromosomes exhibit abnormal condensation and show streaks characteristic of each chromosome due to the fading reaction. There is little or no gene. \u0026 nbsp;
