WHAT DOES GARI MEAN IN MALAY?
Gari
Handcuff is a holding device designed to tie the individual wrists closely. It consists of two parts, which are connected together with chains, enamels, or rigid rods. Each section has a spinning arm that links with a straight-toed wheel which prevents it from opening once it is closed around the wrist of a person. Without a lock, the handles can not be opened and so that the person who is curled can not elaborate his wrists more than a few centimeters / inches, making things difficult or impossible. This is usually done to prevent suspected criminals from escaping police custody.
