The Maya is a rich resident of southern Mexico and northern Central America with a history of 3,000 years. Maya is part of the Mesoamerican Pre-Columbian culture. Contrary to popular fairy tales, the Maya never "disappeared", millions of Maya survivors in this area. Many of them still speak in one of the Maya family languages. This plan will focus on Maya civilization before conquest by Spain.
