Popadom
Popadom or papadum is a type of thin and crunchy crackers originating from India. Popadom is usually served as a meal addition in India and Pakistan, as well as appetizers or snacks that can be dyed with sliced onions, salads, rivers and so on. In some parts of India, raw popadomas are used in the preparation of curry and vegetable dishes. Popadom is of various sizes, small that can be eaten as a large temporary snack chips can be made into a food bandage. The word "popadom" comes from the Tamil word pappaṭām.
