WHAT DOES ROMA MEAN IN MALAY?
Rom
Rome is the capital of Italy and the largest and most populous city of the country, with over 2.7 million inhabitants in a municipality approximately 1,285.3 km2, while the urban population is estimated at 3.46 million by Eurostat. The OECD estimates Rome's metropolitan area has 3.7 million inhabitants. The town is located in the middle of the middle of the Italian peninsula, on the Tiber river. Rome is also often associated with the Roman Catholic Church and its bishop's chief, the Pope. A Roman enclave is the Kingdom of the Vatican, the Holy See sovereign territory and the smallest country in the world. As one of Europe's major cities survived from World War II, Rome was essentially preserved with Renaissance and Baroque features as usual. Rome is the third most visited tourist destination in the European Union, and the historical center is listed UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Sites. Like a modern city it became the capital of Italy since 1870, and grew mainly in two periods one side of World War II.
