Syogun

Shōgun Hearing is a rank in the military and historical titles in Japan. The equivalent modern rank is Generalisimo. As a title, it stands for sei-i taishōgun, the individual who reigned in different periods in Japanese history, ended when Tokugawa Yoshinobu resigned to Emperor Meiji in 1867. The post and administration of shogun was known as "shogun" or in the Japanese as a bakufu literally means "office in the tent", originally meant "the home of a general", thus meaningful "private government". Tents are symbolic of battlefield commanders but also mean that such posts are meant to be temporary.
