Diwali

Diwali, also known in Nepal as Tihar or Swanti - a Hindu festival of light. It's a moving holiday, lasting five days. The Sanskrit word dipawali means the row of lamps and refers to the olive lights of baked clay that are lit in front of every home to welcome Lakshmi, goddess of happiness and prosperity. The lights symbolize victory over darkness, good over evil. Holidays are enriched with fireworks and floral decorations. Diwali is celebrated with impetus, accompanied by numerous cultural events. This is one of the most important traditional holidays celebrated throughout India. It is an opportunity to meet family and friends who are gifted with sweets. Oprawę święta wzbogacają sztuczne ognie i dekoracje kwiatowe.
