Stomia

Stomia - purposely created combination of the light of the inner organ with the skin. In the case of intercourse caused by pathology or complications, the word frog is used. The word "stomia" is most often used as a surgical excretion of the gastrointestinal tract, or urinary tract and skin on the abdomen, allowing excretion of faeces or urine in cases where for various reasons natural excretion has been prevented or obstructed. Intestinal defecation is also performed for the removal of diseased part of the intestine - then a temporary stoma is made, and after restoration the continuity of the gastrointestinal tract. The stoma may be single when the intestinal obliquity of a segment of the intestine or the double is present on the shell when the folds of the intestinal loop are removed, and two openings are visible outside.

Stomia – celowo wytworzone połączenie światła narządu wewnętrznego ze skórą. W przypadku połączeń między narządami powstałych wskutek patologii lub powikłań, używa się słowa przetoka. Pod pojęciem „stomia” najczęściej rozumie się stomię wydalniczą, czyli chirurgicznie wytworzone połączenie między przewodem pokarmowym lub układem moczowym i skórą na brzuchu, umożliwiające wydalanie kału lub moczu w przypadkach, gdy z różnych przyczyn wydalanie drogą naturalną zostało uniemożliwione lub utrudnione. Stomie jelitowe wykonuje się również dla odbarczenia chorej części jelita – wtedy wykonuje się stomię czasową, a po wyleczeniu przywraca się ciągłość przewodu pokarmowego. Stomia może być pojedyncza, gdy na powłoki wyprowadzony jest przekrój światła jednego odcinka jelita lub podwójna, gdy wyprowadzeniu ulega fałd utworzony z pętli jelita, a na zewnątrz widoczne są dwa otwory.
