Pharmacology
Pharmacology (φάρμακον (lekrmakon) - medicine, lógos - word, science) - the field of medicine and pharmacy; learning about the action of drugs, ie the mechanisms of their action on the body and effects of this action. As a science that deals with the most important aspect of medicine, it is sometimes mistaken for the same pharmacy - that is, the domain of knowledge that is superior to all medicines. In particular, pharmacology deals with the construction and properties of chemicals which, in certain situations, have a positive effect on the organism, the chemical and biological mechanisms of action of these substances, the reactions of organisms to these substances, the possibilities of practical applications for the treatment or prevention, side effects, etc.
