letter sheet
Postcard - a mail body used for correspondence as a preprinted letter, which, when folded, allows it to be closed and sent. On the outside there is a printed fee sign and text, and an internal page sometimes text. It was a very popular form in the second half of the 19th century - it limited the cost of sending messages. AQ is considered to be the first in history, was released in 1608 and depicted the coat of arms of Venice. The leaflet as a whole was first introduced in the UK by William Mulready's design of 1 and 2 pence.
