INSELBERG

Twardzielec

Hardwood - a form of the surface of the Earth - an isolated hill, made of rocks harder than the rocks surrounding it. Such isolated hills are typical forms in long-term denudated landscapes. on the surface of the equation. In Poland, Śnieżka in the Karkonosze is an example of hardwood, rising above the tertiary surface of the equator. Examples of "sugar heads" can be found in the world - granitoid slopes in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, or Uluru, Australia. Scales are quite common forms, and many can not be considered beyond the surface of rock formations or even non-rocky slopes if they have been isolated due to the destruction of less resistant rocks. In Polish there is a distinction between the last and the hard. There is a singular rock formation, whose isolation was not due to differences in resistance, but for other reasons. Twardzielec, twardziel – forma ukształtowania powierzchni Ziemi – odosobnione wzgórze, zbudowane ze skał twardszych niż skały go otaczające.
