Passover (holiday in Judaism)

Pascha (święto w judaizmie)

Passover, unleavened bread - a Jewish feast celebrated in the memory of the liberation of the Israelites from the Egyptian captivity. In Israel lasts 7 days, and in the diaspora - 8 days, starting from the 15th day of the month nisan. From the next day counts omer - a period of 7 weeks, almost mournful, in which the orthodox Jews do not celebrate weddings, do not cut hair or shave.
