Potamoplankton

Potamoplankton

Potamoplankton - plankton of running waters, river plankton. He is poorer than the lake plankton. Small organisms such as bacteria, diatoms or skates are prevalent in it. Potamoplankton is an unstable grouping, but it can play a large role in the trophic network of the entire lake ecosystem. The size of potamoplankton is directly proportional to the length of the river and inversely proportional to the current velocity.
