Viola pomposa - former string chordophonist; a small cello with the highest fifth string tuned to c1. The instrument was built according to the instructions of J. S. Bach, who in his scores recorded it as violoncello piccolo. Viola pomposa - dawny chordofon smyczkowy; mała wiolonczela z dodaną najwyższą piątą struną nastrojoną na dźwięk c1. Instrument zbudowany według wskazówek J. S. Bacha, który w swoich partyturach zapisywał ją jako violoncello piccolo.
