Microbiota

Microbiota

In ecology, it is called microbiota to the set of microorganisms that inhabit an ecosystem, mainly bacteria, but also some protozoans, that generally have important functions in the decomposition of the organic matter and, therefore, in the recycling of the nutrients. In medicine, zootechnics, veterinary and agronomy, it is called microbiota to the set of microorganisms that are usually associated with tissues or organs of animals or plants. Microorganisms that establish permanent colonies in or on the body without producing diseases make up the body's normal microbiota. The term "microbiota" is composed of microbes that are present for varying periods and may disappear temporarily. These microorganisms reside in these places more or less permanently and in some cases perform specific functions. the plants are classified into plants, whereas the microorganisms belong to the protist and bacterial groups. This is because these organisms have been classified among plants in the Linotype taxonomy.
