Baraka (film)
Baraka is a documentary film without commentary made in 1992. The director is Ron Fricke. "Baraka" comes from a word meaning "consecration" which is spoken in many languages from the Arabic. The barracks are a document that does not include comments or voices of anybody. Natural events consist of image sequences containing life, human activities and technological phenomena. It was withdrawn for 14 months in 24 countries spread over 6 continents. The film is similar to Koyaanisqatsiya, where Godfrey Reggio does not speak in a similar way. The barracks are an area taken in Todd-AO format, 70 mm over a period of twenty years. Film recording consists of 22 separate parts in three main sections. Their music was made by Michael Stearns, Dead Can Dance, L. Subramaniam, Ciro Hurtado, Inkuyo, Brother, David Hykes, minimalist, Philip Glass. As Samsara continued to draw to Baraka. There was a demonstration in August, 2012.
