WHAT DOES SARRAF MEAN IN TURKISH?

A person who exchanges paper, business paper or metal money, exchanges bonds. The wagons appeared at a time when precious metals such as gold and silver began to be used as a commodity. Gold, which had been used as an ornament beforehand, eventually became a trading tool. The acquisition of new countries came as a result of the operation of new gold mines, especially in the Middle Ages as a gold commodity. In the early ages, the gold from Asia, Africa and Mesopotamia was taken by neighboring countries, mostly wealthy and state elders. When the money was started to be cut from gold, shoppers who traded it and then called Sarraf were bought. The wagons changed the gold to another for their value, and after the discovery of the money they were collecting gold and gold. In the Middle Ages, precious metals such as gold and silver, as well as rubies, emeralds, diamonds, pearls and gemstones, which changed them for the current money, emerged.
