Fandom se refiere a todos los fans de un fenómeno específico, como un autor en particular, una película o un género. El término se utiliza especialmente para los fans de ciertas obras de la fantasía o el área de ciencia ficción. Dentro del fandom, las obras subyacentes se desarrollan frecuentemente con mayor imaginación.
