Adjunto (gramática)
En lingüística, un adjunto es una parte opcional, o estructuralmente dispensable, de una oración, cláusula o frase que, si se elimina o descarta, no afectará de otro modo al resto de la oración. Ejemplo: En John ayudó a Bill en Central Park, la frase en Central Park es un adjunto. Una definición más detallada del adjunto enfatiza su atributo como una forma modificadora, palabra o frase que depende de otra forma, palabra o frase, siendo un elemento de la estructura de la cláusula con función adverbial. Un adjunto no es un argumento, y un argumento no es un complemento. La distinción argumento-adjunto es central en la mayoría de las teorías de sintaxis y semántica.
