Conus
Conus es un gran género de pequeños a grandes caracoles de mar depredadores, moluscos marinos de gasterópodos, con los nombres comunes de caracoles de cono, conos de cono o conos. Este género se coloca en la subfamilia Coninae dentro de la familia Conidae. Geológicamente hablando, el género se conoce desde el Eoceno hasta los últimos tiempos.
