Bloqueo (etapa)
En el teatro, el bloqueo es el movimiento preciso y el posicionamiento de los actores en un escenario para facilitar la ejecución de una obra de teatro, ballet, cine u ópera. El término se deriva de la práctica de directores de teatro del siglo XIX como Sir W. S. Gilbert que trabajó la puesta en escena de una escena en miniatura utilizando bloques para representar a cada uno de los actores. En el teatro contemporáneo, el director suele determinar el bloqueo durante el ensayo, diciendo a los actores dónde deben moverse para el efecto dramático adecuado, garantizar líneas de visión para el público y trabajar con el diseño de iluminación de la escena. Cada escena en una obra suele ser "bloqueada" como una unidad, después de lo cual el director se trasladará a la siguiente escena. El posicionamiento de los actores en el escenario en una escena normalmente afectará las posibilidades de posicionamiento posterior a menos que la etapa se aclare entre escenas. Una vez completado todo el bloqueo se dice que un juego está "completamente bloqueado" y entonces comienza el proceso de "pulir" o refinamiento.
