Entalpía
La entalpía es un potencial termodinámico definido, designado por la letra "H", que consiste en la energía interna del sistema más el producto de la presión y el volumen del sistema: Dado que la entalpía, H, consiste en energía interna, U, más el producto De presión y el volumen del sistema, que son todas funciones del estado del sistema termodinámico, la entalpía es una función de estado. La misma situación existe en la mecánica clásica: sólo un cambio o diferencia de energía lleva significado físico.
