Insourcing
Insourcing es el cese por una empresa de la contratación de una función comercial y el comienzo de realizarla internamente. Insourcing es lo contrario de la subcontratación. Insourcing es una decisión de negocios que a menudo se hace para mantener el control de la producción crítica o competencias. Insourcing es ampliamente utilizado en la producción para reducir los costos de impuestos, mano de obra y transporte. Insourcing también se define como traer un subcontratante de terceros para trabajar dentro de las instalaciones de una empresa. Por ejemplo, un proveedor de outsourcing de TI puede ser contratado para atender el departamento de TI de una empresa mientras trabaja dentro de las instalaciones de la empresa. Además de contratar a un equipo entero de trabajadores de un proveedor de outsourcing, expertos externos a veces son contratados como consultores y el personal interno luego implementa sus recomendaciones. También puede referirse a la contratación de extranjeros para realizar trabajos con salarios más bajos. Un ejemplo sería una mina de carbón que enumera una lengua extranjera como un requisito de trabajo que los ciudadanos tienden a no estudiar. Dado que el grupo de trabajo no tiene la habilidad listada, se puede obtener un permiso de trabajo extranjero que permita la importación de trabajadores chinos.
