La Kaaba o Ka'aba, también conocida como la Casa Sagrada y la Casa Antigua, es un edificio cuboide en el centro de la mezquita más sagrada del Islam, Al-Masjid al-Haram, en La Meca, Arabia Saudita. Es el punto más sagrado dentro de esta mezquita más sagrada, por lo que es el lugar más sagrado en el Islam. Dondequiera que estén en el mundo, se espera que los musulmanes se enfrenten a la Kaaba - es decir, cuando están fuera de La Meca, para hacer frente a La Meca - al realizar salat.
