Disolver (cinematografía)
En el proceso de postproducción de edición de películas y edición de video, una disolución es una transición gradual de una imagen a otra. Los términos fade-out y fade-in se utilizan para describir una transición hacia y desde una imagen en blanco. Esto es en contraste con un corte donde no hay tal transición. Una disolución se solapa con dos disparos durante la duración del efecto, normalmente al final de una escena y al principio de la siguiente, pero también puede usarse en secuencias de montaje. Generalmente, pero no siempre, el uso de una disolución se mantiene para indicar que ha transcurrido un periodo de tiempo entre las dos escenas.
