Las marsopas (/ pɔrpəs /, también llamadas mereswine) son pequeños cetáceos de la familia Phocoenidae; Están relacionados con ballenas y delfines. Son distintos de los delfines, aunque la palabra "marsopa" se ha utilizado para referirse a cualquier pequeño delfín, especialmente por marineros y pescadores.
