Momento, momento o momento de fuerza, es la tendencia de una fuerza a girar un objeto alrededor de un eje, fulcro o pivote. La magnitud del par depende de tres magnitudes: la fuerza aplicada, la longitud del brazo de palanca que conecta el eje al punto de aplicación de la fuerza, y el ángulo entre el vector de fuerza y el brazo de palanca.
