Xia Gui
Xia Gui era un pintor chino del paisaje de la dinastía de la canción. Muy poco se sabe sobre su vida, y sólo unas pocas de sus obras sobreviven, pero generalmente se considera uno de los mejores artistas de China. Continuó la tradición de Li Tang, simplificando aún más el estilo anterior de Song para lograr un efecto más inmediato y llamativo. Junto con Ma Yuan, fundó la escuela Ma-Xia, una de las más importantes del período.
