Weekly Watan es un periódico malayo en Malasia que fue prohibido en 1987 después de la Operación Lalang. El periódico fue redistribuido a nivel nacional el 16 de agosto de 2008 luego de recibir un permiso de publicación del Ministerio del Interior el 1 de agosto de 2008. El periódico fue publicado en tabloide . Antes de ser prohibido en 1987, el periódico fue publicado por Karangkraf Group Sdn Bhd todos los miércoles y sábados como Watan. En 1988, un año después de la prohibición, las licencias de publicación se volvieron a emitir a los productores de esta prensa. Debido a la falta de ventas, su publicación debe detenerse en 1996. Weekly Watan es publicado por Naluri Teratai Sdn Bhd, propiedad de Wan Bahador Wan Ismail y Rosli Abul Zarim. Wan Bahador fue uno de los periodistas que trabajó con el periódico anterior de Watan. El editor en jefe de la prensa es Zabidi Said.
