Ural

Ural - cordillera en Rusia. Es un fragmento del límite entre Europa y Asia. Va hacia el sur desde el mar de Kars hacia el norte hasta la parte central del río Ural en el sur. La longitud de la banda es de más de 2000 km, ancho 40-150 km. El pico más alto es Narodnaja con una altura de 1894 m n.p.m. Ural es una colina doblada en espiga. Las partes más altas de las montañas están compuestas principalmente de rocas metamórficas y magmáticas. Las capas inferiores están hechas de varias rocas sedimentarias. Ural se divide en: ▪ Ural Polar - desde la Bahía del Bien hasta la fuente de Chulga; tallas alpinas muy estrechas y altura hasta 1499 m n.p.m. ▪ Ural Subpolar - lasotundra y tundra, en las montañas más altas de los Alpes y pequeños glaciares, altitud hasta 1894 m. ▪ Ural del Norte - a las montañas Oslanka; crea numerosas bandas paralelas con picos redondeados, altura hasta 1617 m n.p.m. Ural Central - al río Ufa; fuertemente aplastado y reducido a 1119 m n.p.m. ▪ Sur de los Urales: a los Urales; Un extenso macizo con numerosas cadenas de hasta 1640 m de altura.

Ural – pasmo górskie w Rosji. Stanowi fragment umownej granicy między Europą i Azją. Ciągnie się w kierunku południkowym od Morza Karskiego na północy do środkowego odcinka rzeki Ural na południu. Długość pasma wynosi ponad 2000 km, szerokość 40-150 km. Najwyższym szczytem jest Narodnaja o wysokości 1894 m n.p.m. Ural jest fałdowym górotworem hercyńskim. Wyższe partie gór zbudowane są głównie ze skał metamorficznych i magmowych. Niższe warstwy zbudowane są z różnorodnych skał osadowych. Ural dzieli się na: ▪ Ural Polarny – od Zatoki Bajdarackiej do źródeł Chułgi; bardzo wąski łańcuch o rzeźbie alpejskiej i wysokości do 1499 m n.p.m. ▪ Ural Subpolarny – lasotundra i tundra, w najwyższych partiach gór rzeźba alpejska i małe lodowce, wysokość do 1894 m ▪ Ural Północny – do gór Oslanka; tworzy liczne równoległe pasma o zaokrąglonych szczytach, wysokość do 1617 m n.p.m. ▪ Ural Środkowy – do rzeki Ufy; mocno spłaszczony i obniżony do 1119 m n.p.m. ▪ Ural Południowy – do rzeki Ural; rozległy masyw z licznymi południkowymi łańcuchami o wysokości do 1640 m n.p.m..
