Augmentatif
Un augmentatif est une forme morphologique d'un mot qui exprime une plus grande intensité, souvent en taille, mais aussi dans d'autres attributs. C'est l'opposé d'un diminutif. Étant donné que la surévaluation de quelque chose le rend souvent grotesque, dans certaines langues, les augmentatives sont utilisées principalement pour des effets comiques ou comme des pejoratifs. De nombreuses langues ont des augmentatives pour les noms; Certains ont des augmentatives pour les verbes.
