Contango
Contango est une situation où le prix à terme d'un produit est supérieur au prix spot prévu. Dans une situation de contango, les hedgers ou arbitrageurs / spéculateurs sont "disposés à payer plus pour une marchandise à un certain point à l'avenir que le prix réel attendu de la marchandise. Cela peut être dû au désir des gens de payer une prime pour avoir la marchandise À l'avenir plutôt que de payer les frais de stockage et de supporter les coûts d'achat de la marchandise aujourd'hui ".
