Excellence
L'excellence est un style honorifique accordé à certains membres d'une organisation ou d'un État. Une fois donné le titre "Excellence", le titulaire peut conserver le droit à cette courtoisie tout au long de sa vie, conformément aux normes internationales complètes et diplomatiques. En général, les personnes interrogées comme Excellence sont les chefs d'État, les chefs de gouvernement, les gouverneurs, les ambassadeurs, certains ecclésiastiques, la royauté, l'aristocratie et les militaires, et d'autres possèdent un grade équivalent. Il est parfois mal interprété comme un titre d'office en soi, mais en fait est un honorifique qui précède différents titres, à la fois dans le discours et par écrit. En ce qui concerne un tel fonctionnaire, il prend la forme de Son Excellence; En adresse directe, Votre Excellence, ou, moins formellement, simplement Excellence. L'abréviation HE est souvent utilisé à la place de Son Excellence; Alternativement, il peut défendre son Eminence.
