Accouplement à la cinquième roue
L'attelage de la sellette assure le lien entre une semi-remorque et le remorqueur, tracteur, remorque principale ou chariot. Certains véhicules récréatifs utilisent une configuration de la sellette, ce qui nécessite l'installation du raccord dans le lit d'un camion pick-up en tant que véhicule tracteur. L'accouplement se compose d'un pivot, d'une tige en acier de 2 ou 3 1/2 pouces de diamètre à l'avant de la semi-remorque et d'un dispositif de couplage en forme de fer à cheval appelé sellette à l'arrière du véhicule tracteur.
