Guanethidine
La guanéthidine est un médicament antihypertenseur qui réduit la libération de catécholamines, comme la norepinephrine. La guanéthidine est transportée à travers la membrane du nerf sympathique par le même mécanisme qui transporte la norepinephrine elle-même, et l'absorption est essentielle pour l'action du médicament. Une fois que la guanethidine est entrée dans le nerf, elle est concentrée dans les vésicules émetteurs, où elle remplace la norepinephrine. Elle peut également inhiber la libération de granules en diminuant la norepinephrine.
