QUE SIGNIFIE HYPOTHESIZE EN ANGLAIS

Hypothèse

Une hypothèse est une explication proposée pour un phénomène. Pour qu'une hypothèse soit une hypothèse scientifique, la méthode scientifique exige qu'on puisse la tester. Les scientifiques basent généralement des hypothèses scientifiques sur des observations antérieures qui ne peuvent pas être expliquées de manière satisfaisante avec les théories scientifiques disponibles. Même si les mots «hypothèse» et «théorie» sont souvent utilisés de manière synonyme, une hypothèse scientifique n'est pas la même que la théorie scientifique. Une hypothèse scientifique est une explication proposée d'un phénomène qui doit encore être rigoureusement testé. En revanche, une théorie scientifique a subi des tests approfondis et est généralement acceptée comme l'explication précise d'une observation. Une hypothèse de travail est une hypothèse provisoirement acceptée proposée pour de nouvelles recherches. Un sens différent du terme "hypothèse" est utilisé dans la logique formelle, pour désigner l'antécédent d'une proposition; Donc dans la proposition "Si P, alors Q", P désigne l'hypothèse; Q peut être appelé un résultat. P est l'hypothèse dans une question What If.
