Objecteur de conscience
Un objecteur de conscience est un «individu qui a revendiqué le droit de refuser de faire un service militaire» en raison de la liberté de pensée, de conscience et / ou de religion. En général, le statut d'objecteur de conscience n'est considéré que dans le contexte de la conscription militaire et ne s'applique pas aux forces militaires bénévoles. Dans certains pays, les objecteurs de conscience sont affectés à un autre service civil en remplacement de la conscription ou du service militaire. Certains objecteurs de conscience se considèrent pacifistes, non interventionnistes, non résistants ou antimilitaristes.
