Rajasthan (/ rɑːdʒəstæn / Prononciation Hindustani: (écoutez), littéralement "Terre des rois" ou "Terre des royaumes"), est le plus grand état de l'Inde par zone (342 239 kilomètres carrés (132, 131 pieds carrés) ou 10,4% de la superficie totale de l'Inde) . Il est situé sur le côté ouest du pays, où il comprend la plus grande partie du désert Thar (également connu sous le nom de «désert du Rajasthan» et «désert indigène») et partage une frontière avec le Pakistan le long de la rivière Sutlej-Indus vallée.
