Probabilisme catholique
Dans la théologie morale catholique, le probabilisme fournit un moyen de répondre à la question de savoir quoi faire quand on ne sait pas quoi faire. Le probabilisme propose que l'on puisse suivre une opinion probable quant à savoir si un acte peut être exécuté moralement, bien que l'opinion contraire soit plus probable. Il a d'abord été formulé en 1577 par Bartholomew Medina, OP, qui a enseigné à Salamanque.
