Écran tactile
Un écran tactile est un affichage visuel électronique que l'utilisateur peut contrôler par des gestes simples ou multi-touch en touchant l'écran avec un stylet spécial / stylo et-ou un ou plusieurs doigts. Certains écrans tactiles utilisent des gants ordinaires ou spécialement revêtus pour fonctionner, tandis que d'autres utilisent un stylos / stylo spécial. L'utilisateur peut utiliser l'écran tactile pour réagir à ce qui est affiché et pour contrôler son affichage. L'écran tactile permet à l'utilisateur d'interagir directement avec ce qui est affiché, plutôt que d'utiliser une souris, un pavé tactile ou tout autre périphérique intermédiaire. Les écrans tactiles sont communs dans des dispositifs tels que des consoles de jeux, des ordinateurs personnels, des tablettes et des smartphones. Ils peuvent également être attachés à des ordinateurs ou, en tant que terminaux, à des réseaux. Ils jouent également un rôle de premier plan dans la conception d'appareils numériques tels que les assistants numériques personnels, les appareils de navigation par satellite, les téléphones mobiles, les jeux vidéo et certains livres. La popularité des smartphones, des tablettes et de nombreux types d'appareils d'information stimule la demande et l'acceptation des écrans tactiles communs pour l'électronique portable et fonctionnelle.
