Agapa

Agapa - à l'époque des premiers chrétiens, c'était un repas commun, une fête de fraternité associée à l'origine à l'Eucharistie. Pour des raisons de piété, avec le temps, elle a acquis un caractère indépendant. De nos jours, il s'agit généralement d'un rassemblement social ou d'une fête après une messe commune, afin de renforcer les liens entre les membres de la communauté des fidèles. Il vient du mot agape, qui signifie amour, et du nom du repas commun consommé par les membres de la communauté. Cette coutume a disparu autour du 7ème siècle. Répandu parmi les différents types de communautés chrétiennes, par exemple les églises évangéliques, le Chemin Néocatéchuménal et le Mouvement Lumière-Vie. Agapa vise à créer l'unité parmi les membres de la communauté, en montrant la joie qui vient du don du sacrement. Pour enrichir cette rencontre et la rendre plus solennelle, des mets savoureux sont préparés pour que, lorsqu'ils sont mangés, les frères voient de manière tangible et solidaire dans leur communauté. C'est aussi un signe: les frères partagent le pain, et c'est l'Eucharistie.

Agapa – w czasach pierwszych chrześcijan był to wspólny posiłek, braterska uczta, która pierwotnie była połączona z Eucharystią. Ze względów pietystycznych z czasem nabyła samodzielnego charakteru. Obecnie jest to przeważnie spotkanie towarzyskie bądź uczta po wspólnej mszy świętej, służące umocnieniu więzi pomiędzy członkami wspólnoty wiernych. Pochodzi od słowa agape, oznaczającego miłość, oraz nazwy wspólnego posiłku, spożywanego przez członków gminy. Zwyczaj ten zanikł około VII wieku. Rozpowszechniona wśród różnego rodzaju wspólnot chrześcijańskich, np. w kościołach ewangelikalnych, Drodze Neokatechumenalnej oraz Ruchu Światło-Życie. Agapa ma na celu stworzenie jedności wśród członków wspólnoty, poprzez okazywanie radości wynikającej z daru przyjętego sakramentu. Aby wzbogacić to spotkanie i uczynić je bardziej uroczystym, szykuje się smaczne potrawy, aby w czasie ich spożywania bracia namacalnie dostrzegali jedność i miłość w swojej wspólnocie. Jest to także znak: bracia dzielą się chlebem, a na tym też polega Eucharystia.
