CHE SIGNIFICA ATTICISM IN INGLESE
atticismo
L'atticismo era un movimento retorico che è iniziato nel primo quarto del I secolo aC; Può anche riferirsi alle parole e alle frasi tipiche di questo movimento, contrariamente a diverse forme contemporanee di Koine greco, che continuavano ad evolversi in direzioni guidate dagli usi comuni del greco ellenistico. L'atticismo è stato ritratto come un ritorno ai metodi classici dopo quello che è stato percepito come lo stile pretenzioso della retorica ellenistica e sofistica e ha richiesto un ritorno agli approcci degli oratori attici. Sebbene il linguaggio più chiaro dell'atticismo divenisse finito come orribile e ornato come le perorazioni che cercava di sostituire, la sua semplicità originale significava che era universalmente comprensibile in tutto il mondo greco.
