CHE SIGNIFICA CONTRADICT IN INGLESE

Contraddizione

Nella logica classica, una contraddizione consiste in una incompatibilità logica tra due o più proposizioni. Si verifica quando le proposizioni, presi insieme, producono due conclusioni che formano le inversioni logiche, di solito opposte tra loro. Illustrando una tendenza generale nella logica applicata, la legge di non contraddizione di Aristotele afferma che "non si può dire di qualcosa che sia e che non sia nello stesso rispetto e nello stesso tempo". Per estensione, al di fuori della logica classica, si può parlare di contraddizioni tra le azioni quando si presume che i loro motivi si contraddicano.
