Lund (Pronuncia svedese: (ascoltare)) è una città della provincia di Scania, in Svezia meridionale. La città ha 82.800 abitanti nel 2010, per un totale municipale di 110.824. È la sede del comune di Lund, contea di Skåne. La città è ritenuta fondata intorno al 990, quando Scania apparteneva alla Danimarca. Presto è diventato un importante centro cristiano della regione del Mar Baltico, in un'epoca in cui l'area era ancora una zona di frontiera per la missione cristiana, e all'interno della Scandinavia e soprattutto della Danimarca nel Medioevo. Dal 1103 fu sede di un arcivescovo. Al centro della città sorge l'imponente cattedrale di Lund, costruita ca 1090-1145.
