Acrocefalo (uccello)
I guerrieri di Acrocephalus sono piccoli uccelli passerina insettivori appartenenti al genere Acrocephalus. Precedentemente nel parabilitico assemblea di Warbler del Vecchio Mondo, sono ora separati come l'omonimo della famiglia Acrocephalidae della palude e degli alberi. Essi sono a volte chiamati guerrieri di paludi o guerrieri di canne, ma questo invita confusione con Marsh Warbler e Reed Warbler proprio, specialmente in Nord America, dove è comune utilizzare case minuscole per specie di uccelli. Questi sono barbari piuttosto bruno brunastro normalmente associati a paludi o altre zone umide. Alcuni sono striati, altri chiari. Molte specie sono migratrici. Molte specie hanno un profilo a testa piatta, che dà origine al nome scientifico del gruppo. Le specie allevate in regioni temperate sono fortemente migratori. Le specie più enigmatiche del genere, il Grande-fatturato Reed Warbler, sono state riscoperte in Thailandia nel marzo 2006. È stato trovato solo una volta prima, nel 1867. È stato trovato anche in un angolo remoto dell'Afghanistan nell'estate 2009.
